Ronald Roessler
CEO and Founder
Dr. Ron Roessler earned his Classics degree and teaching certificate from Princeton University. He has over 30 years of teaching experience, both inside and outside of the classroom. For more than a decade, his Certamen teams have consistently placed in the top 5 at National competitions. His 2025 and 2018 Wisconsin Certamen teams won the National Championship.
Dr. Roessler has also led hundreds of students to top 10 awards in individual competitions at State and National Conventions. Dozens of his students have been accepted to elite universities. He is currently a Certamen coach and Seminar instructor at Brookfield Academy.
When he was a student, Dr. Roessler won multiple National Awards and, as a two-time champion, he is in the Certamen Hall of Fame. He is also recognized as a Merens member of the Certamen Hall of Fame for his contributions as a coach. When he is not coaching Latin, he works as an ER doctor.

Amanda Roessler
Lead Tutor and Content Contributor
Amanda Roessler graduated Swarthmore College as a double major in Art History and Classical Studies in 2024. She is currently finishing her Masters in Museum Studies with Harvard. She has been teaching seminars with Dr. Roessler since 2021. In 2022, she revamped the Art History curriculum. She has also coached students to multiple top-ten finishes, including several individual first place awards at the National Convention.
Amanda has interned with several museums, worked on an archaeological dig in Tuscany, and she studied abroad in Rome. As a student, she earned countless top-five awards at State and National Conventions in Certamen, individual tests, and art projects.
Amanda remains an active member of the National Senior Classical League (NSCL). Amanda served as the 2022-2023 NSCL Vice President and 2023-2024 NSCL President. Amanda currently works as a Collections Move Technician at the Milwaukee Public Museum and coaches field hockey in her spare time.
